Gender & Discovery Preferences
It helps support discovery preferences and matching accuracy.
Gender selection forms part of Vindmy’s trust and discovery framework. Allowing unrestricted gender changes could undermine discovery preferences selected by other users.
Example A female user may choose to only be discoverable to females. If a male user could simply change his gender selection to female, that user’s discovery preferences could be bypassed. Restricting gender changes helps:

• Maintain trust
• Prevent misuse
• Preserve discovery integrity
Users who selected the incorrect gender during registration may contact Vindmy Support. Requests may require verification before review.
Profile Verification
Profile verification helps confirm that a user is genuine and improves trust within the Vindmy community

Unless specifically stated as part of a separate verification service, Vindmy does not perform comprehensive criminal, financial, employment or background checks on users.
A verification badge indicates certain information has been reviewed by Vindmy. It does not guarantee a user’s behaviour, intentions, character or safety. Users should always exercise caution when interacting with others. . Verification does not guarantee Character , Behaviour , Intentions , and Personal safety.
Location Services

Yes, Location permissions can be changed at any time through your device settings.
No Vindmy accesses location information only in accordance with the permissions granted through your device settings.

Safety Alerts Features
It sends your location and alert to emergency contacts.

2. Select “Report User”.
3. Choose a reason.
4. Submit the report.
Reports are reviewed by the Vindmy moderation team. Actions may include, Content removal, Warnings, Temporary restrictions, Suspension, Permanent account removal
If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services immediately.
You should also report the user through the app.

Yes,If a user activates a medical alert feature, Vindmy may use available location information to assist in sharing the user’s location with nearby users to provide help.

Blocking & Reporting

Blocked users cannot contact or interact with you.
Open the user’s profile and select “Block User.”
Blocked users cannot contact you through Vindmy and will have restricted interaction with your profile.
